Again, like "Pantang Iban" by Steve Kurzman, this is
not a book, but an article that appeared in "The Sara-
wak (= Malaysian Borneo) Museum Journal Vol. XVI
Nos. 32 - 33", which came out in 1968!
This is one of my personal treasures in my tribal tat-
too books collection, since the traditional tattoo de-
signs that Sharon Thomas covers here (depicted are
her hand-drawn copies of what she found while doing
her research in Borneo) are unlike *anything* you
have ever seen in the books that are generally avai-
lable on Borneo/tribal tattooing. Bear in mind: exclu-
sively women's designs!
And just like the Sarawak Museum Journal that fea-
tures Steve Kurzman's "Pantang Iban", I also have
original copies of this one for sale!
