This is not a book about Borneo tribal tattooing, but
an article on the subject that appeared in "The Sara-
wak (= Malaysian Borneo) Museum Journal Vol. XLIV
No. 65", that came out in 1963!
The article is interesting since it takes a scientific ap-
proach, and was written by someone who had a ge-
nuine interest in Iban tattooing years before traditio-
nal Borneo tattoos became popular and fashionable.
The author - as can be seen on the accompanying
pictures - even went as far as receiving his own Bun-
gai Terung (aka Borneo Rose).
Believe it or not, but I actually have original copies
of this publication for sale!
